Definition of “People”

Throughout this Strategy Map, “people” refers primarily to women, youth and persons with disabilities, particularly those who face barriers to opportunity, inclusion, sustainable livelihoods and participation in community development.

MEAL

We measure, listen, learn and adapt.

Our Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning approach tracks progress, listens to participants, documents lessons and supports better decisions.

Important:

Programme-level baselines and targets will be established before publishing verified impact figures. We will not present illustrative numbers as achieved results.

Our strategic targets

Approved by the Board of Directors, these targets set out what we aim to achieve by 2030. They are future targets, not results already achieved; baselines and available resources will inform periodic review.

Knowledge and skills

≥75% of participants demonstrate improvement

Confidence and agency

≥70% of participants report improvement

Well-being and resilience

≥65% of participants in relevant interventions report improvement

Sustainable livelihoods

≥70% of supported initiatives remain operational after 12 months

Green practice adoption

≥70% of targeted participants adopt at least one promoted practice

Funding resilience

No single source exceeds 50% of annual income

Annual reach targets will be approved by the Board. Results will be disaggregated by sex, age and disability.

Review and accountability

Monthly monitoring, quarterly performance and risk reviews, semi-annual outcome reviews and annual strategic reviews will guide delivery. The mid-term review is scheduled for 2028 and the end-term evaluation for 2030. Participant feedback, safeguarding and confidential complaints handling will inform learning and corrective action.
