Five strategic pathways to lasting change.

Our five programmes translate the Board-approved 2026–2030 strategy into delivery, guided by funding, baselines and annual workplans. Women, youth and persons with disabilities are our primary focus.

Empower People

Increase people's capacity, confidence, well-being and economic agency so they can make informed decisions, pursue opportunities and shape their own futures.

Human Development & Empowerment Programme (HDEP)

Skills, confidence, mental well-being, agency, leadership, mentorship and coaching.

Objective by December 2030: By December 2030, ensure that at least 75% of participants demonstrate improved targeted knowledge or skills, at least 70% report increased confidence or agency to pursue opportunities, and at least 65% of participants in relevant interventions report improved well-being or resilience, measured against programme baselines and disaggregated by sex, age and disability.

Promote Sustainable Livelihoods

Expand access to sustainable economic opportunities that enable individuals and communities to increase their incomes, strengthen resilience and improve quality of life.

Economic Empowerment & Livelihoods Programme (EELP)

Entrepreneurship, employment pathways, financial inclusion, value addition and market access.

Objective by December 2030: By December 2030, enable women, youth, persons with disabilities and other underserved participants to access viable livelihood opportunities so that at least 70% of supported livelihood initiatives remain operational 12 months after support and at least 70% of supported participants report improved income or livelihood opportunities compared with baseline.

Promote Green & Climate-Resilient Solutions

Enable communities to adopt practical green innovations and sustainable practices that strengthen livelihoods while protecting and restoring the ecosystems on which people depend.

Green Innovation & Climate Resilience Programme (GICRP)

Climate-smart agriculture, green enterprise, environmental awareness and ecosystem restoration.

Objective by December 2030: By December 2030, achieve adoption of at least one promoted green or climate-resilient practice by at least 70% of targeted participants and demonstrate improved climate or environmental practices in at least 70% of targeted communities, verified through annual field monitoring and community assessments.

Strengthen Resilient & Inclusive Communities

Build communities with the capacity, relationships, leadership and local systems required to respond to challenges, seize opportunities and sustain development gains.

Community Resilience & Inclusion Programme (CRIP)

Community leadership, social inclusion, participatory planning and local partnerships.

Objective by December 2030: By December 2030, ensure that at least 75% of supported community structures demonstrate active, inclusive local participation and ownership, and that at least 75% of participants report meaningful involvement in programme decisions, verified through annual community assessments and participant feedback.

Build a Sustainable & Accountable Organisation

Build an organisation capable of delivering credible, evidence-informed and sustainable solutions while developing partnerships that extend the reach and longevity of its impact.

Institutional Strengthening & Sustainability Programme (ISSP)

MEAL, financial sustainability, organisational capacity and strategic partnerships.

Objective by December 2030: By December 2030, operate an accountable and financially resilient organisation in which 100% of major programmes have approved MEAL plans and risk registers, at least 90% of programme reports are submitted on time, at least eight strategic partnerships are active, no single funding source exceeds 50% of annual income, and no significant audit or control issue remains unresolved beyond the agreed corrective-action deadline.
